Come Out & Celebrate National Coming Out Day
Celebrate National Coming Out Day at the Houston Coming Out Party! — a social mixer and fundraiser with special guest Mayor Annise Parker. In addition to the fabulous scene, hors d’oeuvres and art auction, organizers say there will be some surprises this year so please don’t miss it! Last year’s event saw nearly 300 attendees and raised more than $13,000 for Pride Houston and Montrose Counseling Center
New Full-time Opportunities for Two Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors
MCC is seeking experienced LCDCs to work with GLBT, African American, Latino, and HIV+ clients and their families in an intensive outpatient chemical dependency treatment setting. The counselors will perform community-level outreach outreach, screening and assessments of potential clients, and facilitate chemical dependency treatment groups as well as individual therapy sessions.
