Free Sexual Ethics Series, Tuesdays in April
What would be different in your life if you felt clear and spiritually affirmed about your body, pleasure, sex, your sex practices and sexual choices? Sex-negative religious attitudes have infused dominant cultural messaging for ages, insisting that sexuality is counter to our spirituality – not just for queer folk, but for everyone! In this 4-session interactive workshop series we explore what a sexuality-affirming, spirituality-honoring sex life could look like.
Saving Sex is brought to us by Rev. Kristen Klein-Cechettini and Rev. Dr. Michael Diaz of Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church. As host and co-sponsor of this series, the Montrose Center invites you to participate free of charge, Tuesdays in April beginning April 1st from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Room 106 of our Cultural Center (First Floor). If you missed the first or second session you may still sit in on the remaining.
A shortened version of the series was offered to attendees of the Creating Change conference held here in Houston in January, and was both well-attended and well-received. Don’t miss this chance to experience it yourself!
