DESCRIPTION:Join the Houston Pride Band in a musical celebration of their 40th anniversary celebration! \nThis gala concert will feature dynamic music representing the band’s history\, present\, and future\, and will serve as the band’s thank you to the Houston community for 4 decades of support. The program will include music to take you down memory lane with some of the band’s greatest hits\, as well as popular classics in the concert band repertoire. \nSince 1978\, the Houston Pride Band has provided a safe\, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ and ally musicians to participate in a community band and has supported the Houston community through musical performances that uplift and inspire.
